All these factors needs to be done in the least possible time. Don't spend too much time working on these points and spending 2-3 hours just thinking about what needs to be done. Quicker and Accurate you get in freelancing, more will be the chances that you will be awarded the project.

Freelancer is a popular website to find the jobs which match your skills on the internet. Many people are complaining about what are the parameters which one should notice before bidding on the project and what factors should be taken care of while bidding to become a successful freelancer. We have discussed the same over here so that you can learn and try these tricks to be a successful freelancer.

Tips and Tricks to follow before bidding on Freelancer Websites

It is little difficult to have a clear idea or finding a single most optimal method to bid on the projects to become successful. The ideas which are shared over here are with respect to the website Freelancer.com and are from my own personal experiences. I don't guarantee that this same method will be applicable to all the skill sets which are available on the portal. My skill sets include content writing, project work (technical), lecturing, etc.

  1. Details provided about the project: It is extremely important that you completely read the details which are provided about the project. One can get a clear idea of how much the employer is interested in having the job done. This can also give a brief glimpse into the capacity of him/her to pay for the job which is posted. It is thereby required that you read the description completely to have a deeper insight into the work which is provided.
  2. Country: One should also take into consideration about the country from which the employer is. If they are from the developed nations then there would be higher chances that you will be paid sufficient amount for the quality which you deliver. The country is visible right below the job description which is provided, though you won't be given the user id of the employer till they contact you directly for the project.
  3. No of bids: You should also have a look at the number of bids which has already taken place. If the number of bids is high then you have to prove yourself competitive among all of them in terms of quality and price in order to be selected. Normally high paying and big projects would have a higher number of bids so you should be ready to deal with the competition in freelancing.
  4. Flexibility: It is also required that you are flexible enough to take any of the projects which you are provided initially as it will be added up in terms of your experience. Initially, you should not expect to be paid highly, you should gradually develop an experience of freelancing over a time period till you have a sufficient experience to go for bigger projects.
  5. Relevant Experience: Provide the relevant experience you have related to the project which you have opted for. If the experience is related to freelancing it will add an upper edge to get the project immediately. Showcase this experience in the description section giving all the details about those works in the shortest possible write-up because employers are not having so much of time to read you big descriptions.
  6. Initial Test: Always be ready for the test. Even if you are having relevant experience you might be tested for a small task provided to you. If you provide quality work in limited time then you will be selected in no time.

Takeaways

Thus, we can say that there are few of the things which one needs to be aware before bidding over the freelancing project. These factors improve your chances of being awarded the freelancing project.
